Kenneth Gruenholtz is an artist living and working in New York City. His work has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Paris and Barcelona. He had his first solo exhibit, Behind the Scenes, at the ClampArt gallery in February 2021. His first book of environmental portraits, UNCENSORED: My Year Behind the Scenes with Michael Lucas and his Models, was published by Salzgeber Co. in August 2020 and is now in its third printing. His next book, The Fine Art of Erections, will be published by Salzgeber in 2022. In February 2022, he completed principal photography for a new docuseries called Male Nudes and Us which will be seen on multiple platforms in 2023. Gruenholtz also serves as a curator for DontDeleteArt.com, a website devoted to sharing artwork that has been improperly censored/deleted on social media. He holds a master’s degree in digital photography from the School of Visual Arts where he is also a guest lecturer on censorship in the arts.
