On February 27th, 2021, I was struck in the face with a fist I didn't see. At a church football league after the game while apologizing for the actions of my teammate. I get paid to speak as an instructor/coach/mentor/mortgage account executive and instantly it was taken away. Broken Jaw, surgery, 37 days of wires and rods in my skull behind my gums. I turned to what I know best....music, self-reflection, God, the Peloton and the open road... I just want to share my journey over the last year. The testimony alone doesn't feel or sound real and I am still living through it. I want to share it through music...therapy. it is ONE of the healthiest coping strategy I have, music, and it has put my mind, body, heart, and soul back together. This Foundation started and has succeeded by providing equitable training and mentoring opportunities to underserved youth. Then Covid...and I now see the pain goes way beyond the field and my Psychology Classroom...I will be a positive light in the dark
